I am spending Xmas with friends and their families and as I'm on a tight budget am looking for presents for the whole family (2 families in all) who all have kids.
As i don't want to buy them a present each, one of the friends suggested I get board games that the whole family can play together - but apart from Monopoly am totally uninspired.
Any ideas? Kids are aged 7 to 13. If you have kids in this age range let me know what sort of board games you play as a family. |

| Yahtzee (or Yams, to some French). You don't need to buy the game, just buy 5 die and download the score pads. Excellent if your budget s stretched. |

Blokus is a fun game for 2-4 people and doesn't take too long to play (great for the parents)
Otherwise my kid's favourite is Uno Extreme, a card game. |
