Eurostar traffic to be disrupted until Sunday; many trains have been cancelled and passengers have been told to expect up to 90 minute delays if their train is running.

the problem with snow in paris is that it all gets trampled into a wet and soggy and cold mess as it hits the pavements which turn (virtually instantly) into ice rinks...the rain/snow combo of today was treacherous!
