Does anyone know of any street parties, local events taking place to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee year?

english speakers in chantilly are planning a community picnic/fair - date not yet confirmed - but some time in June - watch this space...

The Standard Athletic club are apparently planning something for the weekend of the 12th of May

Chantilly date = the 10/6th Street party/picnic on the Grande Pelouse - easy walking distance from the SNCF station for those coming from Paris (25 minutes by ter from the Gare du Nord)

Sunday 10th June 12.00 pm to 5.00 pm Jubilee Picnic on the petit pelouse by Chantilly racecourse.Drinks, refreshments, stalls representative of different anglophone organisations. Come and join the celebration and a toast to the Queen.
Stalls selling cakes, pictures, books, jams, chutneys and English goods. There will be games for the children to join in and a craft stall so that the little ones can make a little something to take away with them as a souvenir!
