Just saw a really interesting report on M6 about women’s safety – how to react if someone tries to attack you on the metro etc. Does anyone know of any shops that might sell basic attack alarms? Thanks

There is a gun shop opposite the Fare de l'Est - not sure of name, but as you stand outside with your back to the entrance it is one block down on the left - they sell mace spray and alarms; but presume that any gun shop would do so.

Check out their website. (M6) They normally say that if one needs any additional info you can find it on their website. So, perhaps they will have a liisting of where to find it. Goodluck and perhaps if you do find/source it.. Let 'us' know

Thanks for the replies. In general I do think Pairs is a pretty safe city but you can never be too careful! I will let you know if I find a place that sells them.

Good for you, Julia! Also, one needs to be very careful with all weaponry, as mistakes can and do happen. If you make a mistake, or of you cannot give absolute proof that you were acting in self defence, you will be legally liable.

I would rather be legally liable than hurt or even worst!

Most gun shops sell them, their is one near us at the top of Blvd du Temple, place de la Republique end.
