AngloINFO Paris Update

Looking out at the World

AngloINFO's focus is on "everyday life in France, in English". However, that doesn't mean we ignore what's happening in the rest of the world. Wherever you live it can be important to keep up with current affairs and interesting to stay on top of the local news in your home country. The Internet is an excellent medium for doing so, the only problem being: where to start - it's so big!

No news isn't always good news…

There's The AngloINFO Newsroom, which gathers together news stories from the world's English-language media on a wide variety of subjects, under the following general headings:

Then there's the INFOrmation Page on English-language media that guides you to local press, and has links to a selection of Internet radio stations broadcasting in English along with the websites for a wide selection of newspapers from all around the world.

Heat and dust

Each summer France issues a plan canicule which provides warnings and information on expected summer temperatures and resulting health hazards, along with drought warnings and regularly updated information on water restrictions.

To find out the latest information for your region see the INFOrmation Page on Heat Waves & Water Restrictions

What else?

To keep up with all the new stuff on AngloINFO is easy - just click here! We've been adding new entries to the AngloFILE just about every day, and there are now over 4,300 listings there!
