Cinema, Cinema!

Even in these days of almost ubiquitous satellite television,  multi-lingual DVDs and TV Over IP (television over the Internet), it can be a delight to go to the movies and watch a film in the hushed darkness of a theatre, on the big screen, just as its makers intended. That's why AngloINFO Paris now brings you a complete guide to all the films in English that are playing in Paris and the Ile de France. 

What's on, where, when

Each week, the AngloINFO English-Language Cinema INFOrmation Page lists the VO (version originale) English-language films showing throughout Paris central and across all départements of the Ile de France. 

The listings are vast - there's something for everyone - from blockbusters such as Superman Returns to Vincent Gallo's The Brown Bunny, first shown at Cannes Film Festival 2003 and described as "the worst in the history of Cannes"; you'll find these and more showing in Paris' Multiplexes and Art House cinemas.

You can easily navigate the listings to find what you want to see, where or when by clicking on the arrondissement or town name that interests you, or by selecting a movie title or day of the week from the drop-down menus. 

Each movie's title is actually a hyperlink, taking you to essential information provided by The Internet Movie Database, so you can find out more about the movie, it's stars, and read reviews from the world's top critics. 

• The AngloINFO English-Language Cinema INFOrmation page is updated every Wednesday morning - if your arrondissement or town appears not to be listed it just means there's nothing on this week; maybe there will be next week!
