Paris Airport Transfers & Connections

Information on how to travel between the airports of Paris: Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle International Airport, and Orly's Orly-Ouest and Orly-Sud airports and Paris centre and the Ile de France.

Paris - Roissy-CDG - Paris connections

Airport connections between Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle International (Roissy-CDG) and Paris are available by Roissybus (RATP bus), RER, Cars Air France (the Air France shuttle), private shuttle, limousine and taxi.

Charles-de-Gaulle Terminal 1 (CDG1) and Charles-de-Gaulle Terminal 2 (CGD2) are connected by a free shuttle bus which runs at 10 minute intervals.

Train: RER B

Trains run every 4 to 15 minutes with an average total travel time of 30 minutes. Main stations are: Gare-du-Nord, Châtelet-les-Halles, St-Michel and Denfert-Rochereau.

  • Trains depart from Gare-du-Nord from 04:56 to 00:14
  • Trains depart from Roissy from 04:56 to 23:56

Roissybus (RATP bus) 

Bus service from Paris to Roissy-CDG: Bus leaves Paris centre every 15 minutes from 05:45 to 20:00 and every 20 minutes from 20:00 to 23:00. Average travel time is 60 minutes.

  •  Air France agency, rue Scribe near Opéra National de Paris (Arr 9, Metro: Opera)  

Bus service from Roissy-CDG to Paris: Bus departs every 15 minutes from 06:00 to 19:00 and every 20 minutes 19:00 to 23:00. 

Departures from: 

  • Terminal 1: Arrivals exit
  • Terminal 2A & 2C: exit 9 in Terminal 2A
  • Terminal 2B & 2D: exit 11 in 2D
  • Terminal 2E & 2F: exit 5 
  • Terminal 3: Arrivals exit

Cars Air France 

Air France shuttle runs between Paris and Roissy-CDG.

Departures from Paris: 

  • Paris Boulevard Gouvion Saint-Cyr (Arr: 17, Metro: Porte Maillot)  
  • Avenue Carnot (Arr: 17, Metro: Place Charles de Gaulle/Etoile) 

Shuttles leave every 15 minutes from 0 5:45 to 23:00.

Arrivals at Roissy-CDG:

  • Terminal 1: exit 2
  • Terminal 2A, 2B & 2D: exit 6
  • Terminal 2C: exit 5
  • Terminal 2E & 2F: exit 3

Departures from Paris:

  • 20 bis Boulevard Diderot (Arr 12. Metro: Gare de Lyon)  
  • Rue du Commandant Mouchotte (Arr 14/15. Metro: Gare Montparnasse)

Shuttles leave every 30 minutes 07:00 to 21:00.

Arrivals at Roissy-CDG:

  • Terminal 1: exit 32
  • Terminal 2A & 2C: exit 2 - 2C
  • Terminal 2B & 2D: exit 1 - 2B
  • Terminal 2E & 2F: exit 3

SNCF Night bus (Noctambus)

Operates through the night, 7 days a week. 

Paris centre is connected to all three terminals of Roissy-CDG airport by the Noctambus. Departures every 30 minutes from 11.40 to 05.10 from Place du Châtelet, 90 rue de Rivoli (Arr 1/4, Metro Châtelet). Average travel time: 50 minutes.

There are two routes taking in the following stations: 

  • East-West: CDG, Gare-du-Nord, Châtelet, Versailles, St-Quentin-en-Yvelines and la Verrière
  • North-South: CDG, Gare-du-Nord, Châtelet, Gare de Lyon, Gare d'Austerlitz, Evry and Corbeil/Essonnes

Paris - Orly - Paris connections

Airport connections between Orly International and Paris are available by Orlyval, RER, Orlybus (RATP bus), Cars Air France (the Air France shuttle), private shuttle, limousine and taxi.

Orlyval and RER B

Orlyval is an automatic metro line linking the Orly airport and the RER station Antony. Trains run every 4 to 8 minutes 06:00 to 23:00, with an average total travel time of 35 minutes to Châtelet and 45 minutes between Orly and Charles de Gaulle/Etoile

To reach Orlyval station:

  • Orly Sud: exit J
  • Orly Ouest: exit W

Take Orlyval to RER station Antony, then the RER B and metro transfers to your final destination.

Orlybus (RATP bus)

Bus service that linking Orly airport and Place Denfert-Rochereau (Arr: 14, Metro: Denfert-Rochereau) in Paris with a travel time of about 30 minutes.

  • Departures from Orly every 15 to 20 minutes from 06:00-23:30
  • Departures from Denfert-Rochereau very 15 to 20 minutes from 05:35-23:00

RER C & ADP Shuttle bus

A regular train service runs between station Pont de Rungis/Aéroport d'Orly and Paris centre station Gare d'Austerlitz every 15 to 30 minutes from 05:34 to 23:34. Average travel time: 35 minutes. 

To reach Pont de Rungis-Aéroport d'Orly station from:

  • Airport Orly Sud: ADP shuttle at exit G
  • Airport Orly Ouest: ADP shuttle at exit G

Take the RER to your final destination, or transfer to a metro line.

Cars Air France 

Air France shuttle bus service from Paris (Metro: Invalides) to Orly via Montparnasse (Arr 14/15. Metro: Gare Montparnasse), and from Orly to Invalides via Porte d'Orléans and Duroc. Shuttles run every 15 minutes from 05:45 to 23:00. 

At Orly airport the Cars Air France boarding point is:

  • Orly Sud: exit J
  • Orly Ouest: exit D

Regular bus service from Paris to Orly Terminal-Sud and Orly Terminal-Ouest.

Orly - Roissy CDG & Roissy CDG - Orly connections

Cars Air France runs a shuttle connection between the two international airports, weekdays every 30 minutes from 06:00 to 23:00. Times are subject to change, and alter at weekends.

Beauvais Airport connections

Airport connections between Beauvais Airport and Paris are available via Porte Maillot shuttle bus and by train from Gare-du-Nord.
